i tried a new gif creation method with this batch! it's something i've wanted to try for a while, but my copy of photoshop is very finicky through wine on linux, and i'm always walking on eggshells when i use it, so i kept putting it off lol. but![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
frequency mentioned that she uses this method, so i decided to try it, and despite a couple crashes, i'm really glad i did. the gifs have so much less color noise and grain, which is probably the best aspect to this method, since my gifs always came out so grainy, even when i tried to use noise reduction to smooth it out.
i think my only issues with the method are that it seems to water down my own flashy style a bit, and i don't exactly like how photoshop resizes images (specifically how it's harsh on edges), but i'll have to keep practicing with it i guess. and i know photoshop has different resizing methods, i just need to play around with them lol
there's a couple other unfinished batches sitting around in folders right now, specifically some aespa savage gif icons, but i can't decide if i want to start over with them to use this new method or continue with what i have, so i decided against finishing them for this post. besides it's just more satisfying having a huge niziu post haha.
